From university roots in Berbice to a growing group of specialized technology brands, IT Solutions has focused on practical solutions for businesses in Guyana.

Our Story

IT Solutions began in 2005 as a response to a real need for IT services among students at the University of Guyana Berbice Campus.

While studying Computer Science, Michael Williams recognized that many students and users around the campus needed practical help with technology, systems, and digital tools. What started as a way to fill that need soon grew into something much bigger.

Over time, IT Solutions expanded beyond its university beginnings and became a trusted technology partner for businesses and organizations across Guyana.

Today, IT Solutions serves as the parent-company hub for a growing ecosystem of specialized services and brands, including business IT support, websites, software systems, POS solutions, hosting, and healthcare technology.

Meet the Founder

IT Solutions was founded by Michael Williams, with a vision rooted in accessibility, problem-solving, and real-world support.

Starting from the University of Guyana Berbice Campus, Michael turned an immediate need for technology assistance into a business built on trust, direct support, and practical results.

Today, he continues to guide IT Solutions as it grows into a broader technology group serving clients across Guyana through both direct services and specialized product brands.

Where it started

IT Solutions begins at the University of Guyana Berbice Campus to help meet growing IT service needs among students and users.

2008–2015
Beyond campus

The company expands into broader business support, websites, repairs, and general technology services for clients in Guyana.

2016–2020
Structured growth

Services become more defined, including hosting, networking, custom systems, and stronger business-focused offerings.

2021–Present
Brand ecosystem

IT Solutions evolves into a parent-company model with specialized brands such as POS Guyana, CloudClinic, GyHosting, and more.
